The X1 is a straightforward single-purpose chiller. Plug in, set your temperature, and let it run! No app, no variants, no complexity. If you have one, this guide covers everything you need to get set up and keep it running well.
Before you start
- Place the chiller on a flat, stable surface with at least 30 cm clearance on all sides
- Do not place against a wall or in an enclosed space. The chiller requires airflow to operate efficiently and dissipate heat
- Confirm your power outlet matches the chiller's voltage requirements for your region
Connecting to your tub
- Attach the inlet hose to the inlet fitting on your tub
- Attach the outlet hose to the outlet fitting on your tub
- Check all connections are hand-tight. No tools are required.
- Ensure hoses run freely without kinking between the chiller and tub
Filling your tub
Fill your tub with water before switching the chiller on. The water level must fully cover the inlet fitting. Running the chiller with insufficient water risks damage to the pump.
Powering on
- Plug in and switch on at the wall
- Set your target temperature using the control panel
- Allow 12–16 hours for the water to reach your target temperature. Running overnight delivers the best results.
Filter maintenance
Replace the external 20-micron cartridge filter every 6 weeks. A clean filter protects the pump and extends the life of the unit. Keep the exterior vents clear of dust and debris.
