It is not possible to use the infrared elements in an existing steam SaunaPod. The Infrared has been designed differently and unfortunately, the components cannot be used in the original steam sauna. There is a control pack in the back of the Infrared that connects the lights and the panels. The tent also has slightly different material to the steam sauna as the type of heat has changed from wet to dry. Similarly, the convert the sauna to an infrared.
