Duties, Taxes, and CustomsUpdated a day ago
Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in your order total at checkout. These charges are levied by your country's customs authority and are separate to any amount paid to Vital+ at the time of purchase. The amount you may be charged depends on several factors that include:
- Your destination country and its import regulations
- The product type and its customs classification (HS code)
- The declared value of the shipment
- Whether your country applies a de minimis threshold (a minimum value below which no duties apply)
Customs fees are typically collected by the carrier or customs authority before or at the point of delivery. In some countries, your order may be held at customs until payment is made. Vital+ is required to declare the full and accurate value of all shipments on customs documentation. We are unable to under-declare values or mark shipments as gifts to reduce customs liability.
We recommend checking with your country's customs authority or speaking with a local freight forwarder before placing an international order to understand what charges may apply. Charges can vary significantly by country and product category, and are outside of our control once a shipment has left our warehouse. If your order is held and you have questions, contact us at [email protected] and we'll help where we can.
