If the carrier attempts delivery and you&apos;re not home, normal redelivery processes apply. A holding surcharge only applies when you have contacted us to request that your delivery be pushed back while your order is already on its way.<hr>Why does this charge apply?<ol><li>Once a premium order is in transit via a freight carrier, rescheduling or holding a delivery incurs costs from the carrier for storage, handling, and reallocation of delivery resources.&#xA0;</li><li>These costs are outside of Vital+&apos;s control and are passed on directly from the carrier.</li><li>Vital+ is not responsible for holding surcharges.&#xA0;</li><li>Any fees incurred as a result of a customer-requested delay will be the responsibility of the customer.</li></ol><hr>How much does it cost?Holding surcharges vary depending on your location, carrier, and the duration of the hold.
