Setting Up Your Acrylic TubUpdated a day ago

The Acrylic Tub arrives fully assembled. There is no inflation or panel installation required. Two people are recommended for positioning.

Choosing your placement

Choose your final location before filling. The tub should not be moved once full.

  • Indoor use is recommended. The Acrylic Tub is not designed for prolonged outdoor exposure.
  • Flat, level, stable surface required.
  • Allow clearance on both sides for chiller placement and hose access.
  • Check that your floor can support the combined weight of the tub and water. The Acrylic Tub holds approximately 300–350L when filled to the recommended level.

First fill

  1. Connect the chiller inlet and outlet hoses to the ports at the base of the tub before adding any water. This is significantly easier than connecting after filling.
  2. Confirm the drain valve is fully closed.
  3. Fill via garden hose to your preferred level, leaving approximately 10 cm from the rim.
  4. Once filled, power on your chiller and set your target temperature via the unit or the TUYA Smart app.

Temperature

Allow 4–6 hours to reach your target temperature from ambient, depending on room temperature and starting water temperature. Running the chiller overnight is a reliable way to ensure the tub is ready for a morning session.

Water care

  • Wipe the acrylic interior with a damp cloth after each use.
  • Use a mild, non-abrasive sanitiser to maintain water quality.
  • Replace water regularly. With daily use, every 2–4 weeks is a reasonable guide.
  • Do not use abrasive sponges, steel wool, bleach, or harsh chemical cleaners. These will permanently scratch and dull the acrylic surface.
  • For mineral buildup: diluted white vinegar on a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly.
