A premium freestanding ice bath with a rigid acrylic shell, designed for long-term indoor installation paired with a chiller unit. Your Acrylic Tub arrives fully assembled no inflation or panel installation required.
Two people are recommended for positioning. Once filled, the tub should not be moved.
Before you begin
Choose your final location before filling. Think about:
- Surface — flat, level, and stable. Check that your floor can support the combined weight of the tub and water (~300–350L when filled to the recommended level)
- Indoor placement — the Acrylic Tub is designed for indoor use and is not suited to prolonged outdoor exposure
- Clearance — allow space on both sides for chiller placement and hose access
- Drainage — position the tub somewhere you can easily run a drain hose when it needs emptying

Step-by-step setup
Step 1 — Position the tub
Place the tub in its final location before adding any water. Use two people. Once filled, the tub should not be moved.
Step 2 — Connect your chiller hoses
Connect the chiller inlet and outlet hoses to the ports at the base of the tub before adding water. This is significantly easier to do dry please don't skip this step.
Step 3 — Close the drain valve
Confirm the drain valve is fully closed before filling.
Step 4 — Fill the tub
Fill via garden hose, leaving approximately 10 cm from the rim.
Step 5 — Power on your chiller
Once filled, power on your chiller and set your target temperature via the unit or the TUYA Smart app. Allow 4–6 hours to reach your target temperature from ambient, depending on room temperature and starting water temperature. Running the chiller overnight is a reliable way to ensure the tub is ready for a morning session.
First use
Once your tub has reached your target temperature, you're ready. A few things to keep in mind early on:
- Keep sessions short to start with your body adapts over time
- Always have a warm towel ready before you get in
- Never use the tub alone if you're new to cold water immersion
Care and maintenance
Acrylic interior
- Wipe the interior with a damp cloth after each use
- For mineral buildup: diluted white vinegar on a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly
- Never use abrasive sponges, steel wool, bleach, or harsh chemical cleaners as these will permanently scratch and dull the acrylic surface
Water care
- Use a mild, non-abrasive sanitiser to maintain water quality
- Replace water regularly with daily use, every 2–4 weeks is a reasonable guide
- If the water is cloudy or has an odour, replace sooner
