Non-toxic water treatments or pool/spa-grade sanitisers (like chlorine or bromine tablets) in minimal doses can help maintain cleanliness. 

Always check the product instructions to ensure compatibility with your ice bath’s materials. There are a couple of non-chlorine solutions we recommend that work well with the Ultra X2 Chiller and up:

Potassium Peroxymonosulfate

• A non-chlorine oxidizer used to “shock” water.
• Helps break down organic waste like sweat, oils, and debris.
• Keeps water clearer and helps other sanitizers (or UV) perform better.
