Chiller Ultra X2 Settings - P1, P2, & P3Updated a day ago
The Chiller Ultra X2 Settings has three key settings (P1, P2, and P3) that can impact how your chiller operates.
To access these settings:
Hold down the temperature icon button for a few seconds until the display changes.
P1: Temperature Hysteresis
P1 determines how often your chiller will turn back on after reaching the set temperature
For example, if your target temperature is 3°C and your P1 value is set to 2°C, the chiller will stop cooling once the water reaches 3°C and start cooling again when the water rises to 5°C (3 + 2).
- Adjustment range: 0.1°C to 10°C
- Default: 2°C
P2: Compressor Start-Up Delay
P2 sets the delay time before the compressor restarts after stopping, to help protect the system. You can set this delay between 1 to 5 minutes, with a default of 3 minutes.
- Adjustment range: 1 to 5 minutes
- Default: 3 minutes
Please note it is not recommended to adjust the P2 setting.
P3: Display Temperature Calibration
If the display temperature differs from the actual water temperature (e.g. as measured by an external thermometer), P3 allows you to correct this. This ensures your chiller doesn't turn off too early or too late based on incorrect readings.
